Why recycle your diabetic test strips?

Hundreds of million of boxes of diabetic test strips are manufactured each year.  Unfortunately, not all boxes of test strips are actually used.  More than a million boxes each year are destroyed unused, or they sit on shelves until they expire and are thrown away.

There are many reasons why boxes go unused.  Some people successfully manage their diabetes and don't need to test as often, while others may have only needed their strips for a short time for medical reasons such as pregnancy.  Some people are shipped test strips in the mail from their insurance company and receive more than what is needed.  Sometimes test strips are left behind when a family member passes away.

Millions of people in the United States currently live with diabetes, do not have medical insurance, and therefore can't afford to buy their test strips at retail price.  These people put their health in jeopardy every day by not testing as instructed, simply because they can't afford their test strips.

We purchase your unused test strips for immediate cash, and then offer them to individuals who have little or no medical insurance.  This helps keep them out of landfills and into the hands of people who can put them to good use.
